shows only node for the first group

edited February 2007 in General
Hi! I'm useing Report Builder 10.05 v Profesional edition.

I have a report with Create node set to true for both report and groups. For
every group I get a page which is how is supposed to work. But I get a node
only for the fist group. if I set to show nodes for pages , then all the
pages show up under first group.

What could be wrong?

Thank you,
Laura

    Hi Laura,

In my quick testing with a report and a single group set to start a new
page, turning the page nodes off and the report and group node on seemed to
give a correct output of one entry for each group. How many groups are you
using? Are they nested? Anything else about how your report is set up
would be helpful so I can try to recreate the issue here.

The report has just one group, I have a couple of fields in the group
header, in the detail band I have two subreports and fields and a image.
The group pipeline is the master pipeline and the subgroups use the child
pipelines. One of the subgroups has inside another subgroup. It is a quite
complex report. Only one node shows up even in the designer, when I do
preview. The same behavior as when I run it in the application.
I have two ather reports that use groups but thouse two work just fine.

    I hope this info helps.

    Hi Laura,

Thanks for the description however I'm still unable to recreate this on my
machine. When you mention "subgroups" do you mean groups inside each
subreport? If possible, please construct a simple example I can run on my
machine that demonstrates this behavior and send it to
support@digital-metaphors.com in .zip format and I'll take a look at it for
    you.

The only way to fix it was to delete the group and recreate it.
