HTML printing with ReportBuilder

edited April 2007 in General
When can we expect a ReportBuilder component to print HTML?

I am currently storing HTML content in a database and would like a way to
print it using ReportBuilder much like we are able to to with RTF documents.
I am suprised that you do not already have one since HTML has been out for
nearly a decade. I could sure use it now. At present I have to look for
another printing solution in order to print HTML.

Thanks,

    Hello,

there is a component available as 3rd-party "WpTools". I am using 4.x with
RB-Extensions. The DbWpTools and also the WpTools component could print HTML
directly. They are normaly RTF, but they have an autodetection, so they look
for Tags and then convert it on the fly to there internal format. So you
    have nothing to do.
Also i have made some converion pass throug Html2Rtf, Ansi2Rtf and so, that
i could also handle HTML in RAP. All is based on the WpTools Toolset.

I use TExtraDevices. You can learn about it at www.waler.com. With it, you
can easily export reports to Lotus, Quattro, Excel, Bitmap, JPEG, HTML,
XHTML, PDF, TIF, RTF and Dot Matrix formats. It is extremely easy to use.
Drop the component on the main form and the devices are added automatically
    to the ReportBuilder dropdown list.

Oops. Sorry, I misread your message. You want the source to be HTML, not
    to export to HTML.
