Delphi 2007 - 32

edited May 2007 in General
HI I have Delphi 7 and Report Builder 7.0

Can I just recompile RB to get it to trial with Delphi? I am attracted to
D2007, but want to check out first that my applications wil re compile with
out major issues.

If I can not do this, what are the implications of upgrading - Cost, and
code compatibility.

Many thanks,

Tony

    Hi Tony,

If you download the trial edition of the latest version of ReportBuilder
(10.06), you will be able to compile and test your current applications with
Delphi 2007 very easily. ReportBuilder 10.06 is the only version of
ReportBuilder that is compatible with Delphi 2007.

All report templates are backward compatible so any saved templates you need
to load, will work correctly with RB 10.x. We have made some large changes
to the UI of ReportBuilder but have tried our best to update it and still
allow most old code to function correctly with it. I would suggest
downloading a trial copy and performing a few tests. If you have any
issues, we will be happy to help you work throught them.

Upgrade/Pricing information can be found on our web site as well.
