Richtext transparent is always invisible

Hello,

i am using 10.5 and placing a Richtext element in designmode. If i type in
some text and set transparent to true, then in preview nothing is displayed.
It is importand to have trabnsperent for watermarks. Actually i am switching
all reports from memo to Richtext...

One Wish:
In Design i can see the typed text. for my opinion a standard font also
belongs to Richtext (like in RichEdit). So if i assign a Plaintext to the
control by rap, it could do this in the designed default font.

:-( i have 10.6, but id did not install because i had a lot of RP AdOns
(Gnostrics, WpTools, TeeChart, ExtraDev. GridPAck and so on). after one day
i had give it up. Any chance to patch?

did you try to recompile the add ons? (I have not started using 10.06 yet)

yes, i tried, but then a lot could not compile. The dependency is very big
and the gnostice pdf toolbox has need severy hors to install on my system be
remote contrl of the indian company. so you know its complicated also the
first time. Now i have transfered the develop machine to a virtual server,
so it is more easy to backup and test.. i will give it a new try in the next
days...

Hi Chris,

I'm sorry, we are unable to provide patches for RB 10.05 any more. The code
base has not been drastically changed for RB 10.06 so I do not believe
recompiling your third party components should be much different. Were
there any specific issues you were encountering that did not occur for
10.05?

Why didn't you report this in the announcement?
I always have to test the new release to know if you solved a problem,
because most of the times you do not announce all the fixes.
