Having a problem with the duplex option ...

edited May 2007 in General
Hi All,

When i have a two page report, i automatically turn on the duplex option in
the printer setup of the ppReport.

If i want to print another report that is single sided, i still get a two
page print, even though they are exactly the same page and i have turned off
the duplex option.

Anyone got any ideas?

    Hi Trevor,

Where are you setting the duplex option (i.e. which event)? If you preview
the report with a single page before printing, is there only one page
    available?

I set the duplex option when i call the print method.

What i am doing is checking to see if "not FieldByName('FloorPlan').IsNull"
if a filename is there i load it like in my previous question (which
actually worked ... thank you) but i also tur the duplex option on.

When i go to the next record either by scrolling or creatig a new record,
eve if i do not select a floor plan i still get two copies of the front
    page.

Hope this helps explain it Nico,

    Regards,

    Trevor

    Hi Trevor,

I have not seen this behavior before. If possible, please create a simple
example that demonstrates this and send it to support@digital-metaphors.com
in .zip format and I'll take a look at it for you.
