Emailing a report (10.05) - encoding of the report is bad

edited June 2007 in General
Hello,

I have tried using the Email option of the just_upgraded_to v.10.05 (from
10.04);

My report contains a lot of cyrilic texts and they are all garbled, as if
the font encoding is wrong.

How can I fix this?

A hint of the problem might also be, that on some printers, when printing
optimizations are on, and the font I use i ARIAL, the output to the printer
is wrong as well; I can only fix it by changing the font to something that
the printer doesn't have, like ms sans serif (or by turning off the printer
optimizations).

SO, the question again: how do I select the code page of the report/fonts?

Cheers,

Dimitar

    Hi Dimitar,

Is this problem only occuring when trying to email a PDF attachment?

If so note that the built-in PDF device does not support embedded fonts or
any charsets other than the ANSI standard. This is something we plan to
enhance for a later release of ReportBuilder.
