Preview on screen

edited June 2007 in General
Hi,

When I watch a preview of a report on my screen, text with exactly the same
font (and size) is displayed in visually different fontsizes.
When the report is printed all text has got the correct size. The font that
I use is Arial (8 pt)

Is there anything I can do about that?

Regards,
Stef

RB optimizes for the printer, then scales things back for screen preview. A
printer is usually around 600 ppi, a screen is 96 ppi, so you have a loss of
resolution. Now if you zoom out, there is a further loss of resolution.
Depending upon how much you are zoomed out in the preview, which fonts are
used, etc, RB tries to honor the fonts and scale them as best it can to fit
    within the calculated area.
