Out of memory for report over 1000 pages
Hi all
ReportBuilder 10.04; Delphi 2006; TeeChart 7.08
We have a report that generates 5 pages per customer, including 2 graphs.
When generating it for more than 200 customers (1000+ pages) it fails with
"Rendering failed: Out of memory". A single time a customer reported an
invalid pointer operation.
Windows taskmanager only reports approx 10 MB increase in memory (I know it
is not very reliable).
Are there known leeks that could cause this, or do you have any tips, that
might help resolve this?
Best Regards

I would first suggest upgrading your version of ReportBuilder to 10.06. We
are constantly finding and repairing small memory leaks in our software.
Does the problem occur on every machine? Have you tried running your code
throught a memory manager to see if it is not leaking in any way? If the
issue persists, please send a small example that shows the behavior to
support@digital-metaphors.com in .zip format and I'll take a look at it for
you.
