New Install of 10.07 with TeeChart 8.01

Delphi 2007 R2 (Update 3 in included)
TeeChart Pro 8.01
RB Pro 10.07

I purchased a new machine (Vista Windows) and decided to upgrade to Delphi
2007. I installed Delphi 2007... I then installed TeeChart 8.01. When I
start to install ReportBuilder (10.07 - rbpro11) - on the Select Components
Dialog - I notice TeeChart support isn't checked. Shouldn't it be checked?
It's disabled... I've terminated the install because I want to get it right
the first time (if possible). Am I mistaken about the TeeChart support
option? I'd appreciate any help.

    I saw something similar this morning. See one post below.

    Whenever the TeeChart block was not enabled, it was due to my installing RB
    prior to TeeChart. I suppose RB wasn't seeing TeeChart.

    I terminiated the RB install and installed TeeChart, including compiling the
    source and all was well.

    Though you say you have installed TeeChart first, I would go into Delphi and
    insure TeeChart is there.

    I checked Delphi... and it's there... and I can compile the TeeChart
    examples - but for some reason RB doesn't seem to find TeeChart - at least
    it doesn't appear to when I'm attempting to install RB. What is the RB
    install looking for during the install? Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

    Hi Joe,

    Thanks for pointing this out. This is an error in the install script only
    affecting users with TeeChart 8.x who have never had any other versions of
    TeeChart installed in the past. We will have this fixed immediately.

    Options to get it working.

    1. Install ReportBuilder without TeeChart support then manually run the
    RBTeePackageBuilder.exe application located in the \RBuilder\TeeChart\...
    directory.
    2. Re-copy the tee7100.bpl file from your TeeChart 7 standard installation
    (comes with Delphi) back to the Windows\System32\... directory temporarily
    and reinstall ReportBuilder. This should enable the teechart option during
    installation. Note that the installation script simply looks that this file
    exists, it can be an empty "dummy" file if you do not still have the
    original.
