RB 10.07 x Find Text

edited October 2007 in General
Hi,
after installing new version of RB (RB 10.07), Find Text doesn't work.
I get this error:

TppCustomSearchPreview.HighlightPage: Cannot highlight page.
TppTextSearchCustomEngine.CreateHighlightDrawCommand: Could not create highlight draw command
for TppDrawText.
TppTextSearchHighlighter.CreateHighlight: Must use a screen device to generate highlights.
TppDrawText

Version 10.06 works OK.

BDS 2006, Windows XP

Thanx

    Hi,

Same here. Also when I enable textsearch in object explorer or via menu, the
'report changed ...' message is not triggered. Another thing is that the
buttons on the 'find text search' dialog are not nicely aligned.

    Regards,
    Jeroen.

    Hi Roman,

There is a new ReportBuilder 10.07 build available for download from our
website that fixes this issue. Please use the same download link that was
sent to you in your notification email to download and reinstall
    ReportBuilder.

    Hi Nico,

Find text search is fixed but setting the enable property of the textsearch
    still doesn't trigger 'report changed...'
Also the buttons on the 'find text search' dialog are not nicely aligned.
No big issues, just to be complete.

    Regards,
    Jeroen.

    Hi Jeroen,

The fix for Build 2 only affected properties changed using the built-in
object inspector in the designer. If you are changing the text search
settings with the Report | Find Text Settings... menu option, there is a
patch available that will fix the issue.

I'm a bit unclear about the buttons not being "nicely" aligned. On my
machine they are perfectly horizontally aligned. Perhaps more detail about
this issue will help us understand.
