Reset a TppRichText back to default?

edited October 2007 in General
I have a TppRichText on a report. The rich text in the TppRichText is
modified at runtime.

How can I 'reset' the rich text back to the default as shown in the RB
Designer at design-time?

Thanks,

Jason

    Hi Jason,

For future reference, please use your real name (in the "from" field) when
    posting to these newsgroups.

I'm a bit unclear about the issue. What exactly are you trying to
accomplish? If you change the actual RTF text at runtime, the original text
is lost for that instance of the object. You would need to save this text
and re-generate the report if you wanted to revert back to the original.

    Nico,

It looks like you answered my question. I wanted to know if the original
    was lost or not.

    Thanks,

    Jason

it is possible to restore an objects RTTI values--I've seen the code a long
time ago, but I can seem to find it.

You might ask in the Delphi newsgroups.
