PDF and accented characters
Hi,
I'm using ReportBuilder 10.06 and Delphi 7. Some of my reports include
accented characters -- specifically, french characters with the accent
circumflex (the little ^ above certain vowels. For example, the month name
of August in french is Aout, with the ^ accent above the "u").
Such characters display fine on the preview pane, and print fine using our
printer, but when exported to PDF, the accented characters do not render
correctly: It almost seems as if they become part of an "escape sequence",
and the next few characters are backspaced and overlay the accented one.
Does anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions?
Thank you,
John Bennett

Thanks for the response. I have the upgrade message that was sent out on
September 21, 2007 informing me of the 10.07 upgrade, along with the link,
so I will use that. I'll let you know if I have any trouble.
John
10.07 works like a charm.

ask!
