Exporting to a Word document (.Doc) ?

I'm using RB 10.4 and Delphi 7

I have a requirement to be able to export a report as a MS Word document
(.doc). Apparently Crystal Reports 8 gave this option so I need Report
Builder to provide the same functionality. All the third party tools that
I've looked at don't appear to offer this solution, can anyone recommend one
that does ? I don't really want to use the Rich Text option.

Hi Ian,

I do not believe there are any third party components that export directly
to the .doc format. One option would be to export your report to RTF then
using another separate library or converter, convert that file to .doc
format. A quick search on Google revealed numerous products that can
convert RTF to DOC.

Thank you for the quick response. I think your suggestion to convert from
RTF to DOC may well be the best solution.
