Image Quality in Reports

edited November 2007 in General
I have a number of customers who are complaining about the quality of
images in reports. These are logos, that usually include a graphic and
the company name. They look great except when inserted in a RB report.
I tried it here and indeed they are a bit fuzzy.. very non-professional
looking.

I tried setting the Direct Draw property of the ppImage component but
that had no affect. What can we do to get a higher quality image to
display?

    Hi David,

Are the images loosing quality in the preview window, when printed to paper,
when exported to PDF, or all three? Which version of ReportBuilder and
Delphi are you currently using? Are you resizing or stretching the images
    in any way?

    Hi Nico,

I did some tests here and both the printed and pdf rendering were
pretty darn good. It was only the onscreen view that was a bit fuzzy
for me. I have asked thes clients to email me their logo files and i
will try them for myself. I am thinking that the files may be of lowwer
    quality then they stated.
