hiding group breaks

Hi;

im trying to hide/show group breaks on runtime based on user's choice. So
far im using group's header and footer's visible property to show and hide
those breaks, but...

the report left a big blank space (more than an in.) on each page, after the
last detail record and before page footer. im using D7 and rbuilder

    There is not enough detail here to determine what might be happening.

    - make sure that you set the groupheader/groupfooter visible property in
    each band's BeforePrint event.

    - as a test, try setting the groupheader/groupfooter visible to False at
    design time and then run the report. Does it still have the blank space?
