Reportbuilder with wPDF and RichView
Hello,
if I'm using a RichView Component in my Report and want it to export
with wPDF the place where the contents of the Richview Component should
be, is empty.
But I've readen that wPDF and RichView should be working perfect.
Is there something to do that it works?
Best wishes
Bernhard

setting the DeviceType to dtPDFile. That's all. Is there to do something
more for working with RichView. If so, can you give me an example code.
I've searched different Newsgroups (wPDF Forum, RichView Forum,
Digital-Metaphors newsgroups), but I haven't found anything.
Best wishes

If you have the RichView component and wPDF device properly installed you
should not have to do anything else to see all your report components in an
exported PDF. It is the job of the PDF device to find and translate each
report component to the exported file.

the built-in PDF device when exporting. You need to find what the wPDF
device name is and assign the DeviceType property to that value.

I am having the same problem when using the RichView wrapper for
ReportBuilder.
Everything prints fine, except for the RichView wrapper area which is blank.
This only happens when I am using TExtraDevices PDF device.
When I use the built-in pdf device, it prints fine (but the built-in pdf
device is unfortunately not good enough = files too large and bad image
quality).
I am using the latest version o ReportBuilder and RichView and
TExtraDevices.
We are unsure if TExtraDevices supports the RichView component. Try
contacting their support for more information on this topic.
