Can I print a one page external pdf document within a RB report?
Reason: I need a 1/2" (approx) header that will list the current date/time, and our internal order nbr. Then I simply need to print the one page pdf document.
I'm a bit unclear about what you are trying to accomplish. Are you trying to add a previously created PDF document to a Report or are you trying to create a PDF file consisting of a single page of the report?
There are no components available to view/print a PDF document from within ReportBuilder however it may be possible to convert the PDF file to another format such as HTML, RTF, or an image such as a MetaFile and display the document.
I need to print a previously created PDF 'within' a report. Reason: In addition to printing the PDF, this report will print other information in the header section of the report, such as current date/time, internal order etc.
It would be similar to printing an image, but it's not an image file, it's a PDF.
If I cannot do this, then I might have to convert the previously created PDF to an image, then print the image from RB.
