Query Builder

edited March 2008 in General
Hello all, I have an application in which I am trying to provide a query
wizard for the client to be able to create queries in an easy,
straightforward method. I am not giving them any reporting functionality
yet but I would like to know if it would be possible to use the query
designer and query wizard dialogs that are employed in RB. They are very
easy to use! I can create the RB_Tables and RB_Fields tables for the
datadicitonary, and populate them. I just don't know if there is a way to
display the query designer and /or query wizard dialogs without being in the
middle of designing a report. I would just need to invoke one of the
dialogs to allow the user to build the query and then return the SQL they
have generated. It would also be nice, but not necessary to be able to load
a SQL query they have previously designed via this method so that they do
not have to start from scratch each time.

Thanks All,
Branden Johnson
