Subreport position problem

edited November 2006 in Subreports
Hello,

I have a problem getting a subreport positioned exactly on the bottom
of my report, but first i'm gonna explain the situation.

I have a report which is an entirely fixed report, and the data on in
needs te be printed on pre-printed paper (dutch payment forms).

In my case i have to add that report as a subreport to 2 different
main reports because of the formats.
the first one has an invoice on it followed with the payment form,
the second one exists of 3 payment forms on 1 main report.

in the first case i have to align the (sub)report exactly to the
bottom of the mainreport, but somehow i don't seem able to get in
exactly placed. I tried fixed printbehaviour, but then it just creates
a new page when (i think) it exceeds the page boundaries.

If someone has a solution to align a subreport exactly on the bottom
i would be very pleased.

Thanks in advance,

    Hi Marcel,

If this is a fixed subreport, it will print in the exact spot you place it
on your report. It is up to you to measure the height of the subreport
compared to the amount of vertical space remaining in the report. Which
band is the subreport in? Is this a static height band?
