Yes, it is possible to completely replace the built-in Preview by creating a preview plugin. The bulk of the built-in preview form is created in code so the .dfm file is essentially an empty form.
The example you downloaded from the Wiki site shows how to create a preview plugin and register it with ReportBuilder. Using this method, you can make the preview form as advanced and customized as you would like.

in QuickReport , i have a my copy of Preview.pas ( WITH DFM !!! )
i can to do big modify with this new Preview form.
in RB ( i have found only a example on top of this msg ) the modify are
much limited.
