Problem using record count to print alternate colours
I wish to my detail band print alternate background colours.
I've tried do a 'mod' divison on the DataPipeline.RecordNo property - one
colour for even and the other for odd. This is fine for most bands but for
some reason the first two bands and last two bands of my report print in the
same colour. Also on occasions the first two bands on a new page print the
same - I am using a region with KeepTogether so this may have something to
do with it.
Is there a better way to achieve colour banding?
(I am using v 11.08)
Thanks
Martin

ReportBuilder 12 includes built-in alternate band coloring including color
gradients.
Try toggling the visibility of the shape in the BeforePrint event of the
detail band using the DetailBand.Count property.

I had the same problem a few months ago, and solved it by creating a Designtime
component than can be dropped on the report and
alternates the shading of the detail-band for every time it gets printed.
If you're interested, I can send it to you.
