Clarification on group emails

Hi,

Could you clarify how group emailing works please? I was assuming that if I
had a report thus:


--------------begin group SCHOOL_GRADE---------------
GRADE_CODE
GRADE_NAME
GRADE_TEACHER
--------------begin detail-------------------------------------
STUDENT_NAME
STUDENT_AGE
STUDENT_CODE
STUDENT_EMAIL
--------------end detail--------------------------------------
--------------end group-------------------------------------

and assigned NewFile and EmailFile on the group SCHOOL_GRADE with EmailField
STUDENT_EMAIL it would email the PDF file relevant to the current
SCHOOL_GRADE grouping to every student within that grade, however on
inspection it looks like the group email is in fact designed not to email
each individual in the detail but the individual in the group header, so in
this case I could have it email each grade teacher on change of group but
not each student in the grade. Is this correct? And if so how is it possible
to get more than one recipient from each group?
