RB12 & Zebra TLP2844 thermal printer incorrect font size output

edited July 2010 in General
Hi,

We have a client using a Zebra TLP2844 to print out a label. Since we
upgraded to V12(ver 12.01 Build 197) they say the font prints out in a
reduced size. It will preview fine with the correct font size.

They have taken a snapshot of the output to the print prior to the RB12
update and seems what is going to the printer is different. Here is the
output in case it helps

The RB12 version is on the left and the older RB11 is on the right

Is there anything in RB12 that could be doing things different that prior
versions?

Regards,

Luke.

More on this - apparently its only through Citrix that this is an issue.

    Hi Luke,

This is not a known issue with RB 12. I'm a bit unclear about the
screenshots. Is this a picture of the actual output to the label printer or
is this the screen output? Does this happen with all Reports/fonts? If you
create a minimal report containing a single text object, do you still get
    the same behaior?

Issue is only on Citrix, then try updating the drivers on citrix or the
    print config on citrix.

    Hi Nico,

This is a picture of the output direct out of the printer > it looks like
prior to RB12 it was ascii but now unicode which would also tie in with us
    moving to Delphi 2010?

This is the only type of printer where the issue occurs. Other print outs
are fine on a normal ink jet/laser printer.

    Luke.

    Hi Ed,

It turns out that it all works fine now that they are on the latest drivers.
Sorry about the confusion, I was unaware the issue was actually resolved.
