Missing File: Fontsub.dll
Hello.
A few weeks ago we have updated to RB12.
Now we get an error on Windows 98 / Windows ME computers
"Missing File: Fontsub.dll"
if we want to start our software which uses RB12.
The last version of our software runs without problems.
The only thing we have changed is the update to RB12.
I know that Windows 98 / ME is not up to date, but our customers use
third party software which only runs under Windows 98 / ME.
Have someone had the same problem, or have somebody any idea how we can
solve this ?
Best regards
Michael

The FontSub.dll was introduced for Windows 2000 and is used with the PDF
device to create font subsets. We will research possibly removing this
capability for certain operating systems for the next maintenance release.
I highly recommend that your customers consider a solution that will run on
a more current OS. As we move forward with ReportBuilder and add more
advanced features, this issue will likely become a more frequent occurrence.
Even Microsoft no longer supports Windows 98 .
