The Report.XLSSettings is a published property of TppReport. It is saved as
part of the report definition. If you are loading report definitions from a
file or database, then the XLSSettings saved with the report will be used.

I tried a simple test here and did not encounter any issues. I was able to
exclude Line components from appearing in the XLSReport export.

If you would like to send a simple example to support@digital-metaphors.com
we can check it out. Please use standard Delphi components and RB. Use the
DBDemos data or dump some data to TClientDataSets. Send in zip format.

and i tried to modify setting by delphi component
i change setting directly on report editeur and it works.

But i don't understand why my ppReport (delphi) load report from database
    and no apply specific setting.
so i going to modify .

    thank for your answer

You can use the Report.Template.OnLoadEnd and Report.Template.OnNew events
to apply default configurations for existing reports loaded from the
database and for newly created reports.

All published properties of TppReport are saved/loaded as part of the report
    definition.
