Background image

edited September 2010 in General
Hi,

We are testing the Trial Version of Report Builder Professional.
We are using:
Delphi 2009
Report Builder Professional 12.02 for Delphi 2009 Trial
One short question:
How can I set a background image in my report? Can I set in one of the
Rbuilder components or it it`s necessary to edit the Delphi Code.

    Hi David,

    Thank you for trying ReportBuilder!

To place a component in the background of a report, use the PageStyle band.
(Report | Page Style... from the main menu). Once you enable this band,
size it to approximately the size to the paper you are using and place a
TppImage component inside. The image will then print in the background of
    each page of the report.

    Thanks for your answer,
but i have some questions to your description you send to me. (maybe I'm
    a bit stupid :)

    - Where can i find PageStyle band? I placed a TppReport on my form.
Double click on this component. Create my report. The only property i
found was Page Setup but not Page Style.
    - Also I can't find a TppImage in my tool pallet.

    Hi David,

The Page Style option is located in the "Report" main menu option inside the
designer. The main menu should contain the File, Edit, View, Report, and
    Help options.

The Image component is located on the Standard Toolbar. To be sure you can
see the Standard Toolbar, check that it is checked in the "View | Toolbars"
main menu option in the designer. The icon for the image component looks
like a picture of mountains with a sun in the background.
