Transparent Gif printing in black

edited February 2011 in General
This occurs about once a week. I have a report. At the bottom is a gif image
of the doctor's signature. Most of the time this prints fine but once in a
while the gif prints with a black background, a 1 pixel white border
surrounding the black signature. The border could possibly be some variation
of white.

Why does this happen?

    Hi Rick,

This is not a known issue. Which version of ReportBuilder and Delphi are
you using? Does this behavior only occur with transparent Gif files? Does
this occur when viewing the report on screen and printing to the
printer/export to PDF? Any more information you can give us about this
issue would be helpful as well.

    I use Delphi 2010, RB 12.03 Build 348

It always shows correct on the screen.
Do not print this to a PDF so do not know.
I have 30 users, and it happens about once a week on a random user.
Try to reproduce and it comes out clean.

It is driving me nuts as I cannot see a reason why it happens.

    Hi Rick,

Does this behavior only occur for certain (transparent) gif files? Have you
tried using a different image format (jpeg, bitmap)?
