Subreport endlessly printing

I have a report that was done in build 7.? of the report writer, i am
upgrading it to delphi 2010 version 11.08 (windows 2008 server).

I have all the pipelines setup the same way so that the report will work
the same, however I have a subreport in a group section (location),
and if i remove that subreport, or move the subreport to the detail
section, the report prints ok, if i leave it in the group section, the first
page prints and then it endlessly prints pages. I can fix the report by
moving the section, but wondered if there was some other reason why it
would be
doing this and if there is a different fix besides editing the report
that can be done.

If it does not help, try creating a minimal example that demonstrates
