RB7 with TChart 4.04 standard

Delphi 7.

ppDPTTeeChart control Dataset problem,.

I have a CDS on my report. IT is active with about 1000 data pioints.

When I go to the Chart editor, and add a series, then select that Data tab,
select my series, and select Dataset, I do not see any of my datasets in the
dataset drop down.

Any insite greatly appreciated.

Hi Tony,

Data access for the built-in version of TeeChart (4.04) is not available
at design-time in ReportBuilder. To work around the issue, you will
either need to purchase the professional version of TeeChart or design
your charts at runtime.

Thanks Nick. I have indeed purchased the Pro version of Tee chart, but could
not get it to coexist with RB. In the end I removed the RB TChart
components.

Do you have a FAQ anywhere that will advise how I can update RB7 for TChart
2011 Pro please.

Hi Tony,

ReportBuilder 7 is not compatible with the latest version of TeeChart.
ReportBuilder 12 is. I believe TeeChart 7 was the last version
supported for RB 7.

We hope you will consider upgrading your version of ReportBuilder to the
latest to take advantage of some of the new and useful features added.
