How Compatible is 14 to 12

Hi!

I am using some addon-tools like ExtraDevices from Waler, RbAddon,
GridPack which are all worked with 12 and Delphi 7.

Are there any known problems? Are the RPT-Files compatible from 14 to
12 and 12 to 14?

Hi Günter,

All reports created in earlier versions are backward compatible with RB
14 (.rtm files, and reports on a form). Reports created with RB 14
however are not forward compatible with earlier versions of
ReportBuilder. This is due to the fact that many new properties and
features have been added for the newest version.

ExtraDevices and RBAddon are not products supported by Digital Metaphors
so I cannot say if they will function correctly with RB 14. At the very
least, they would need to be rebuilt with the new packages.

GridPack is available to previous users.
