RichEdit mail merge - show parameters

Using Delphi 6, RB Enterprise 11.08

I use the RichEdit control with the Mail Merge facility in order to provide
mail merge functionality in our software. It is often asked if there is a
way we can insert specific information into the document/letter, i.e.
information that is asked for up front.

For example, the letter might be for a job interview, and the user running
the mail merge might want to add the time and room number of the interview
before it is printed. The obvious way to ask the question is using
Parameters, but is there then a way of getting the parameter value to
display in the merged document?

Hi Jason,

This is not a built-in feature of ReportBuilder although it would be nice.

One option would be to use the OnMailMerge event to manually alter the
richtext once the mailmerge operation has finished.
