Maximum length of detail band?

Hi Guys

Is there a maximum length for a detail band? I am trying to display around
15 images in a vertical format down the left hand side of an A4 page, with a
RichText component stretched down the right hand side of the band to contain
text relevant to the images (both contained in a region), all works as
expected with around three images but when I stretch the band down and add
more images and generate the report it just hangs.

Maybe there is another/better way of doing this?

Hi Glenn,

The detail band (or any band) can only take up the space of an entire
page.

For your report, I would suggest having your detail band large enough to
hold one Image and one RichText. Then using a JITPipeline, assign a
different image and RTF data for all 15 images. This will allow the
report to break to a new page once space runs out.
