dbImage - Problem changing data pipline
Using ReportBuilder version 14.02.
On a dbImage component, when I try to select a different data pipeline
in the properties from the dropdown list, it does not change. I have
to delete the component and add a new one from the data tree.
Is this a glitch, or am I overlooking something?

In my testing, I was able to change the datapipeline and field name
successfully using the drop downs in the toolbar of the designer
successfully. My example is using the Animals and Biolife tables of the
DBDEMOS database (each with a separate pipeline).
Please provide the exact steps I should take to recreate this issue and
I will track down the problem and find a solution as soon as possible.

Are you trying to change it in the box called, "Properties for
DBImage1"? I discovered that I could change it on the toolbar, just
not in the Properties box.
I have a custom report area based upon the End User demo. What I do is
start a fresh report. Next, I go to data tab and select new, then just
select a few fields from my customer table. Then I select new again,
and select a few fields from my trans table. I do not link them
together in any way. Then I go to the designer and drop a dbImage
component in the detail band. I select it and try to change the
property for DataPipline (under Data) from Customer to Trans in the
Properties (the box that looks like the Object Inspector). The
pipeline stays on customer. Whether I select it from the drop down
menu, or whether I type the other datapipeline name in there, it
immediately reverts back to the original datapipline.
I just noticed that the same problem exists with DBText as well. The
DataPipline property will not change.
However, I can change it using the drop down menu up on the toolbar at
the top of the report.
I've tested this using the exact steps you describe below and am unable
to recreate the behavior. Which version of Delphi are you using? Are
you able to recreate it with the end-user demo provided with RB?

tested with that version and was able to recreate the issue. I will
research further and get back to you as soon as possible.

change other properties, such as the pen width on shapes and lines, and
also all the appearance properties and Layout properties for RichText.
There are other AV's thrown too, some which throw me completely out of
the Report Designer and won't let me restart it.
Have you tested other options? Will this patch fix those errors too?
