Installing RBuilder help into Delphi XE2
Hi,
We do not install Report builder into the IDE. In stead we incoorporate
the RBuilder sources into our own library of external products, and
compile and install components from there into Delphi XE2.
This does mean that the report builder help is not installed and merged
with the embarcadero help. I've tried running the RBHelpInstaller, but
it just keeps running for hours ... with nothing happening (no activity
either)
How can i merge the rbuilder help, and make it accessible from within
Delphi IDE?
thanks
Bas

1. The RB Help Installer needs administrator privileges to run correctly.
2. Once you run it, be sure the correct version of Delphi is selected
and check the output log created to be sure all files are present and in
the proper place.

result. I select Delphi 2012, I select the "Add" option and start the
process. Then I let it go for 15 hours ... nothing happend.
The log only contains the line:
Merging ReportBuilder Help...
I tried XP-compatibility mode but no result then either. When i try to
look at the process with ProcMon from SysInternals, i actually see
nothing happening ... it looks like its waiting for something.
Anyone any ideas? Or maybe someone can instruct me how to merge the HxS
and HxI files with the regular H2Reg.exe from Windows?
thanks

installer to your machine, does the help install correctly? Perhaps you
can try this on a different machine.
