Hi

i have a sum in the summary of a report. But sometimes the sum is not
correct. The line that is printed on the next page is summed on the first
page.

I'm using an old version of RB 7.04 because this project is in Delphi 5.

A summary band prints once at the end of the report, from your description
perhaps you are doing something else - sum in a footer band? In older RB
versions, putting a sum in a Footer band did not work for most cases. Are
you using a TppDBCalc or a TppVariable with OnCalc event to perform the
calculations?

it is printed at the end of the report but the value is set at the end of
page event.

Also when putting a dbcalc (sum) in a footer the value the text is not the
sum of the items in the report, it is one record more and that record is on
the next page.

how can i prevent that ?

Try using a Variable with the default timing options and the OnCalc event.

For a DBCalc in a footer, try testing with RB 14. This was a known issue in
very old RB versions.
