ppMemo lines and Chinese characters

Hi,

I'm using RAD Studio XE with Report Builder 12.03.

I have a Foxpro table which has a memo field that contains
Chinese characters. When I copy the memo field lines to
the ppMemo1 lines property, and then I generate the report,
the report doesn't show Chinese characters. Instead it
displays "ñF¯]".

By default, the ppMemo field uses Arial font. I changed
it to MS Mincho and it displays the same "ñF¯]" but in
a different font.

Can someone point out how I might be able to get
Chinese characters displayed?

Hi Edmund,

I first recommend upgrading your version of ReportBuiler to 12.05.

How are you copying the text from the table to the memo? Are you using
the clipboard (ctrl-c, ctrl-v) or are you doing this in code? If you
try to copy other Chinese text (perhaps from a website) into the lines
property of a TppMemo, do you get the same behavior?
