Slow preview

Dont know what i did or what happened, suddenly previewing a report is slow,
is verifiied that is not due querying data. It is just the reports preview,
even preview form displays fast, but empty.


Any ideas?

Which version of ReportBuilder and Delphi are you using? Which version
did you upgrade from?

Does this occur with every report or just certain reports?

Long time ago i posted this question and forget it, but the problem is still
unsolved... i was using another report solution for new developments; but
i have an app with many reports made with Report Builder.

So....

im using version 11.02 Enterprise, with delphi 7

the slow preview occurs on every report.


if i remember rigth i was using version 9 of Report Builder before i
noticed this (but im not sure)

Hi Arturo,

My first recommendation would be to upgrade to the latest version of RB
11 (11.08) and re-test your application. Contact
info@digital-metaphors.com with your serial number to obtain the update.

If this does not help, try previewing one of these reports outside your
application in a simple test app to see if ReportBuilder is actually
causing the slowdown. If so, you can send me the simple test app and I
will take a look at it for you (assuming I am able to run it on my machine).

You can also download a trial copy of the latest version of
ReportBuilder (14.08) and test with that.
