eMail Signatures

edited January 2013 in General
Hi

Is there any way to load the Outlook default signature into the email body?

Thanks in advance.

Philip L Jackson

By the way with 64bit Outlook 2013, the 'preview in email client' does not
seem to work - but there again nothing is straight forward with the 64bit
versions of Word and Outlook. I only mention this in case you have someone
complaining that the feature does not work, this possibly could be your
first thing to check.

    Hi Philip,

    body?

Email signatures are not supported by MAPI, they are stored as a text
file on your hard drive in the following location. We could possibly
consider researching and adding the ability to access this from RB in a
    future release.

    C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures

32 bit MAPI applications will not function with 64 bit clients (and vice
versa). If you would like to use MAPI to access an email client, you
need to be sure they use the same architecture.
