Printing to XLSData device doesn't export any data

Hi,

I'd like to print to Excel using the XLSData device. The problem is that
if I don't specify which components to print via the File | Print To
File Setup dialog, no data is exported to the XLS file. Is this the
default behavior since the help contains this statement: "By default
only detail band elements are exported. To override the default, use the
DefaultBands property to specify which bands to export or or use the
Print To File Setup dialog to define which elements to export."? So by
default the detail band should be exported, but in my case it does not
happen. Am I doing something wrong?

Check the Help | About box of the Report Designer, what version of
ReportBuilder are you using?

Version 12.03 (still with Delphi 7).

RB 12.05 was the last produced release for RB 12.x, I recommend updating to
RB 12.05 and then retest. If you need download info, please send serial
number and registration details to info@ and request it. Please configure
your email client to allow digital-metaphors.com as a safe sender, so the
download email is not routed to spam/junk.

Going forward hope you will be upgrading to RB 14, which includes many
powerful new features.
