Reportbuilder 15 - Printing looks differerent to onscreen. (Bug)

edited June 2013 in General
Hi,

We are currently experiencing problems with Reportbuilder 15 where when
printing to screen all appears to print normal (as does saving to PDF),
but when printing to the printer, certain parts are ?pushed down?.

The problem appears to relate to a TppRichText component.

When printing to the screen, all appears to be correct. When printing
out to the printer, the richedit box is pushed down and to the right
significantly, and behind any other components.

On repeating bands where it reprints on the 2nd part of the page it
disappears completely.

This report was working fine in RB 14. The problem has only occurred
since the update to 15.

This bug was reported by a customer of ours. We were able to replicate
the issue at our end.

This bug was replicatable on a number of different printers (PCL based),
laser printers, and inkjet printers. (Including Canon and Xerox) (I
hope it?s as easy to replicate for you).

Thanks & Regards

Adam.

    Hi,

I have been able to create a small example program that replicates this
bug, and have emailed through to support.

If possible, can you please provide us with the source code changes
required to correct this issue so we can implement into our application
immediately, instead of waiting for the next official build, as we have
customers using applications that now include Report Builder 15, and we
are unable to change back to 14 due to features we have already
implemented that were only introduced into version 15.

Thanks very much for your help.

    Adam.
