RB15 Pro and NexusDBV4 compatibility

Hi

Just wondering whether anyone has checked to see if RB 15.03+ is working
(or can be made to work) with the latest NexusDB V4 components?

I downloaded a trial version of NexusDBV4. Here are my observations:

- to compile the RB DADE plugin packages for NexusDBV4, you will need to
modify the require clause of the packages to reference the NexusDBV4 package
names. (The NexusDBV4 trial does not install .dcp files, therefore I cannot
compile the RB DADE plug-in packages. I'm assuming the registered version of
NexusDBV4 includes the .dcps, if not contact NexusDB support).

- the RB Demos\EndUser Databases\NexusDB\EndUser project compiles without
error. (This project includes daNexusDB.pas)

- running the EndUser project I encountered an error at startup. (I think
this is a subtle error in NexusDBV4). I created a patch for RB 15.04 to work
around the error. Registered RB 15.04 developers can email support@ and
request the patch).
