Email with html body (images) and preview in outlook

edited June 2014 in General
Hi,

Just exploring htmlbody text to create nicer looking emails.
In your WIKI
(http://www.digital-metaphors.com:8080/Output/Email/How_To...Email_HTML_message_with_inline_images)
you state that preview in Outlook is currently (RB14) not working.

Is it working in the current version (RB15)?

    Hi Jeroen,

Our built-in HTML device relies heavily on the div tag to position
report components properly. Unfortunately Outlook no longer supports
the div tag inside the email window.

It is on our todo list to research possibly enhancing the HTML device to
export reports as tables rather than using div for a later release
however this is a very large project that would require a complete
    re-design of the device.

    Hi Nico,

I do not mean the report itself as a html email (also nice), but a
predefined email body in EmailSettings.BodyHtml. When using images and
PreviewInEmailClient = True it doesn't work.
With PreviewInEmailClient = False it works ok.

I don't know if this is solved in RB15.

    Hi Jeroen,

Thanks for the clarification. This limitation is still present in the
    latest version of ReportBuilder.
