Upgrading report builder
I am going to be upgrading the report writer from the following:
Delphi 2010, Report builder enterprise edition 11.08
DElphi 7, report builder enterprise edition 11.04
To Report Builder enterprise edition 16.01.
Are there any specific instructions I need to know about for removing
the old versions?

For a major version jump like the one you are doing, I recommend the
following:
1. Uninstall the older versions using the Windows Control Panel.
2. Open the Delphi IDE(s) and be sure all associated RB packages have
been removed from the Components list (Component | Install Packages...
menu option). You may receive some errors when the IDE loads referring
to the packages that need to be removed.
3. Once all RB related design-time packages are removed from the IDE and
you are able to load Delphi without any errors, install the new
version(s) of ReportBuilder.
- Note that the above is a recommendation based on past experience and
is not necessary for all upgrades. New versions of ReportBuilder can be
installed "on top" of older versions successfully.

version on the same computer. For example, release 1 of xx with old
report writer, release 2 of xx with new report writer.
It is possible to have different versions of ReportBuilder installed on
the same machine if they are installed into different versions of
Delphi. For instance my machine has the following setup.
Delphi 6 - ReportBuilder 12.05
Delphi 2006 - ReportBuilder 14.05
Delphi 2010 - ReportBuilder 15.05
Delphi XE7 - ReportBuilder 16.01
It is not possible to install different versions of ReportBuilder with
the same version of Delphi.
