End-user issue
Hi There,
When I create a dataview, the type column shows rubbish. If I then save the
report and try to load it again, I get a message 'Error reading
ppField1.DataType. Invalid Property' . If I choose to ignore the errors,
and check the dataview again, the type column shows every field as a string
type, even though one is a Boolean.
I onced asked about these issues and was told that the new version 6.03
resolves these issues, however this does not appear to be the case.
I am using Delphi 5 and Paradox tables (but have also seen the issue usinf
DBISAM tables).
Any help very appreciated

any issues that you had. I do not remmeber ever seeing this problem in RB
6.03 with any databases. When you say you see the problem with DBISAM, it
could be that you imported the corrupt paradox tables into DBISAM format?
Can you reproduce the problem using our end user demos using the DBDEMOS
databse and the supplied rb paradox tables? If you can, then can you give
us the steps you took to get this error?
