Autosearch fields tab pages

edited February 2003 in End User
Hello,

I'm just re-compiling my project which has been set with ReportBuilder 6.03
with ReportBuilder 7.01.

When I run the program, I can see that Autosearch dialog includes now un
PageControl that manage, for each dataview a tabsheet.

Considering that a report has an autosearch field created whith RB designer,
when I create dynamically an AutoSearchField, the new criteria is inserted
in a new dataview (?). I can see a new tabsheet in the autosearchdialog.

I wouldlike to change the tabsheet caption dynamically. How can I do such a
feature ?

Where can I found a documentation that describes all changes between
ReportBuilder 6.03 and ReportBuilder 7.01.?

Last question : Has anybody a short documentation for end-user ?

Thank's

    1. This is not new. There was a bug in RB 7.0 that the DataView AutoSearch
fields did not appear on separate tabs. This has been fixed for RB 7.01, so
that it works like prior releases.

    2. The Caption is by default the DataView description. This can be modified
from the Data workspace of the report designer. Access the Query Designer's
SQL page and use the edit box at the top.

    3. If an AutoSearchField.DataView property is assigned, then the
AutoSearchDialog will use the DataView.Description as the tab upon which the
    field is displayed.
