Percentage of count function

edited April 2003 in End User
Hi

I have a report that just has Calculated Sql field in the group report
footer and also one in the summary. This gives group count and total report
count. I want to be able to use variables to show what percentage of each
group count is of the report total.

ANy ideas

Thanks

Check out the example below. It shows how to calculate percentages based on
    report totals.

    Hello :

I'm trying to do it with the End User Designed, but I can not accomplish it.
I've tried with variables, with events, with DBCalcs, but It doesn't work.
Someone has a report example with the End User Designer??

    It's really urgent!!!

    Thank you

    David

    David,

You should be able to use the example below to create something similar in
RAP. If there is anything that won't compile in RAP, you will need to
create a passthru function to handle it. Examples or RAP passthru functions
are available in the /RBuilder/Demos/... directory and in the ReportBuilder
    Developer's Guide.
