TppDPTeeChart not showing Pipelines from Data workspace

Hi All,

I meet the same problem as user Jarrod on 30/6/2003.

I am using RB6.03 in Delphi 6
I am connecting to a SQL server database via BDE.
I have all the components on one form
I have the appropriate units in my uses clause

When I go into the Series Datasource tab and try select a Dataset I do not
get any of the pipelines showing up. If I create a persistent pipeline at
design time that shows up, but none from the data workspace pipelines show.

Please help!

What version of Teechart are you using? There is a limitation on the bundled
version of Teechart (v4.04). See the RBuilder.hlp file for more info on
which versions of Teechart are fully supported by RB.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Currently, I am using the bundled version of Teechart(v4.04) . However, I
can use the TeeChart in QuickReport (bundled with Delphi 6) to print
data report. Of course, if possible, I want to code all reports under
ReportBuilder. So, can you comment why the Teechart can be printed in
QuickReport but can not printed in ReportBuilder?

It is a bug we couldn't workaround since we don't have Teechart 4.04 source
as it is only a special version of Teechart intended for the free bundled
version of Delphi. The Teechart authors do not receive royalties from this
version of Teechart.

The solution is to purchase the latest registered version of Teechart in
which we fully support.
