Access violation

edited August 2003 in End User
Hi.

While I try to create a Query using the Query Builder of the End User module
of Report Builder, I get an ACCESS VIOLATION when I try to join 2 particular
tables. Since I built the join directly in the tables, I thought I could
build them using the Report Builder tools but I also have the same error
while trying to create a join between those two tables through the Data
Dictionnary Builer. This looks to be the same issue to me.

What would cause those exceptions ?

We aren't aware of an AV similar to this. What version of RB are you using?
Try testing with RB 7.02 if you aren't using the latest already. Can you
reproduce this with our end user database demo for your database type? What
database are you using? Can you reproduce this with DBDemos data? What are
the field types you are joining on? Make sure the RB Data Dictionary is
disconnected and try to join them manually in the join dialog of the query
    designer.
