"Invalid BLOB handle in record buffer" error...
Hi,
I receive this error when I try to preview one particular report. First page
is loading allright. When I press the next button it loads alright too, but
when I try to see the next (3rd) page - I receive this error.
I found the similiar topic and tried to follow this advice: "Try increasing
the BLOBS To Cache and BLOB Size settings in the BDE alias definition for
your database", but to no avail. I even tried to multiply every single
number in the settings by 8, and those 2 properties were given values 65536,
but it didn't change anything - I still get this error when trying to
preview the 3rd page.
Can someone help me?
I'm connecting to Oracle 9.2 through BDE with ReportBuilder 7.02.
Thank you.

When you create the rb_item table in Oracle, be sure you set the Template
field's datatype as BLOB rather than LONG. There is a known bug with the
BDE when you try to use the LONG datatype and Oracle.
