Old values in TppVariables variables after pages flipping...

edited October 2003 in End User
Hi,
The problem is as follows:
I have a report with a variable in a details section.
This variable doesn't have LookAhead tick on, and no changes to the default
values in the Timing section have been made as well. The report generates
normally.
But when one tries to flip the pages of the report back and forth sometimes
(actually each 2nd time) this variable in a first record has a value from
the previous page !!!. And that applies to the calculations as well (such as
sum, max and so on...).
Could you give me a hint as to what might be causing this?

Thank you,
MB

    Hi Moisey,

Try setting the Report.CachePages to true and see if that helps. This will
use more memory caching your report pages, but if you reports are mainly
text and shapes, it should not affect performance.

    No, It didn't help.
I don't have the variable report anymore since I exchenged all variables on
labels and thus I can't check it anymore; but I still have an error which
seems to happen because of the same reason.
I have 3 pages of report. After generating preview I am going straight at
the last page. Then I press the back button to return on the page before
last. The group summary that is supposed to stay in the middle of the page
is not shown (everything else is there as supposed to be). Only after I go
back one more page and then again forward on the same page the group summary
    appears where it should be.
I think the problem is the same but playing with CachePages setting doesn't
    help.
Do you have any more ideas?

    Thank you,

    Hi Moisey,

Please send an example demonstrating this issue to
support@digital-metaphors.com and I'll take a look at it.
